Diesel Mechanic

DUTIES &
Responsibilities:
Perform, parts, components, systems, and machine inspections to determine operational discrepancies. Identify the problem and cause of failure through troubleshooting steps. Repair or replace parts as required within the defined expectations of the task.
Identify and maintain vehicle records and warranty repairs by documenting services.
Demonstrate proficiency in the repair and diagnosis of: Engines: Power train to include differentials, transmissions, clutches and drive shafts. Electrical systems including starters and alternators, HVAC systems, steering systems, turbos, fan clutches, injectors, cooling system and brake system.
Use all tolling in a manner that is not destructive to the tooling or the item being serviced.
Dispose of failed parts, fluids and other waste in a manner that is considerate of the environment.
Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations. Must use all safety equipment necessary for the job
REQUIREMENTS:
2 or more years experience preferred
Must have own tools
High School Diploma or equivalent
Class A CLD
PREFERRED:
Factory certification on Peterbilt or Kenworth Semi's, Cummins
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
