Reports to: Project Manager
Summary: The Welding Supervisor is charged with the overall responsibility and execution on all welding, quality assurance, quality control, welding and other inspections and documentation on a job site, turnaround or project. They provide an interface between Ferrovial Services, N.A. supervision and client welding/inspection dept.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Reviewing plans, drawings, welding procedures, inspection requirements and acceptance criteria.
Interface with Ferrovial Services, N.A. QA/QC personnel, sub-contract inspection personnel, and monitor the onsite weld work quality.
Responsible for ensuring that the verification and documentation of all work is being completed to applicable codes, standards and client specifications, and for the planning and control of welding materials, welding procedures and welding operations.
Required skills:
Weld Inspection and Tracking
Inspection and oversight of welding operations
Creating and updating weld maps
Assigning weld numbers
Defining NDE requirements per client and Transfield procedures
Coordinating NDE
Coordinating Heat Treatment
Assist in Development of final QC packages
Code Welding
Familiar with code travelers
Familiar with code procedures
Coordinate sign off of all hold points for final inspection
Coordination NDE
Assist in Development of final code package
Minimum Education and Experience:
High school education or equivalent.
Minimum of 7 years' recent experience in an occupational function in the oil and gas or construction related industries, that has a direct relationship to welded assemblies fabricated to a recognized code or standard.
Must be familiar with ASME codes
Other Skills:
Must be capable of working outdoors in all types of weather conditions.
Must be able to bend, squat and kneel.
Must be capable of climbing ladders and scaffolds and working at heights.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 60 pounds unassisted.
Must be able to work in confined spaces.
Must be able to perform work wearing personnel protective equipment. Including but not limited to the following: rain gear, chemical protective clothing, supplied air, and air purifying respirators, safety harness, sand blast hoods, Nomex coveralls, hard hat, ear plugs and safety glasses.
Must be able to work long hours and all shift schedules that may be up to seven days a week for extended duration's of up to 8 weeks or more

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
